I decided to start a joke discussion because we as caregivers need our load lightened. We need to laugh at our own situations and those of others to take away the sting and pain we go through. If you have a joke that's racy then give a heads up at the beginning of your post for those who might not want to read your post. We need to avoid that kind of humor. Please don't come on this thread and berate anyone for their choices of humor. This is our place to let go of criticism. Thanks for sharing!!!! ;o)

I stopped talking to people.
Less to remember.
That news was very hard for me to hear.
I laughed until I cried when I saw these cartoons. You might find they give you a lift. I found the creator in The New Yorker. My favorite today is on the lost weight.

The elephant? addressed
My eggs? in several baskets
My goose? cooked

Together, my dH and I cannot purchase a new toilet seat.
I have left it up to him, so far. The toilet seat is round, not elongated.
Already returned the last one after going to the store twice before.
I suggested he take the old one with him to the store, but "No."
Now Instacart is shopping for us, the guy said "You've got the right guy!" Lol.
It's on the way now, and I am at home where I belong in this heat.
Thank you Cwillie.
Said as a joke, but also so true, it happens.
