xohopexo, hopefully you can find someone local who can drive over to pick up the bed. This forum is world wide, so someone may say yes, but the shipping charges would be very expensive.

Take the bed to your nearest scrap yard and they will pay you for the metal weight.
OR
Search your area for a "scrapper" they will come and get the bed and take it.

no one will take the mattress that will go in the trash you may have to wrap it if it will not fit in your bin.

This is a global forum for caregiving elders, not a commerce site.

Nextdoor.com

Craigslist.org

FaceBook Marketplace

I would post it on Nextdoor and craigslist as free to first person to show up and be able to carry it out and transport it themselves. Make sure to tell them they must bring their own manpower and vehicle. Don't post a contact number, just the address or you might be inundated with calls/texts/emails. Been there, done that. Keep it simple.

Do you still have this bed? I need a long-term care bed with working bed brakes, bed controls, and side rails.
