For 2 years+ I have put my life on hold to care for my parents. After dad died 1 1/2 years ago, I moved mom into my home. We created a two bedroom apt. in our walkout basement for her, and put in a stairlift. In this time she has fought all efforts by her doctor and myself to improve her failing health, always says she feels like and orphan, she should still be in her own home, and she is becoming more withdrawn. Meanwhile, I am neglecting my husband, losing out on time spent with grandchildren, and I am constantly stressed. Also, I am about to turn 65 and I am aging fast!
