Find Care & Housing
Wow, ng...your post tears at my heart. You are shouldering so much right now, and trying to look toward the future too.
Maybe the first thing to do is see an edler attorney...He or she can give you advice on estate planning, long-term care, and guardianship, etc. Do you have a loved one of family friend who could act as a trustee and oversee your wife's care in your absence?
This is a heavy time...but bless you for being a loving spouse.
Good luck
Lilli

ng9996, an ethical elder attorney should steer you right. Your post is among the most touching I have read. I pray that you and your wife will be cared compassionately to the end of your days. I hate what Alzheimer's does to individuals and those who love them. You bring dignity to the world of caregiving with your heart, ng.
