I'm assuming you are you a privately hired aid? If so, you can do online research and find proof of what the "going" rate is for someone of your experience, knowledge and skills. Also, if you've worked a minimum of 30 hrs p/wk for at least a year with no increase you should receive a minimum of the generally accepted "standard" of 3% increase to keep up with "cost of living". Please make sure you have an employment contract in writing from whomever hires you and that they are not paying you in cash -- you need them to contribute to your SS and Medicare and other taxes so that you are not robbed of these benefits when you yourself are a senior.

Not certain what you mean. Rates always increase yearly or when there is a care level increase needed. Some really EXCELLENT facilities, such as the ALF my brother was in, will tell you the exact raise to be expected yearly 3%-5% according to their own costs, barring anything unforeseen (such as Covid-19).
If you have received a rental raise it is very likely that others on their anniversary will as well. Speak with administration about your raise.
I have know some families to negotiate with the facility when funds are getting lower, and the facility has even attempted to keep people who honestly require more of a memory care staffing level, in the lower level of care as long as it works for staff, person, and others in the facility in order to save funds for the elder.
Much depends on individual facility as this is not regulated.

At Moms her rent and the cost of her care we two different charges and she was billed by day. So February's bill would be l less but March's bill would be hire.

Not sure if you can negotiate room rent unless the % is more than the State allows. Ex: ur State allows 3% a year but ur being charged 4%. Then, its if ALs are required to stay within State guidelines.

If its the cost of care, you may have some wiggle room here.
