Yes I have them too. :)

If you give a little more information, I am sure someone will be able to offer some help.

Take care.

Thanks for the reply and sorry to hear you too are suffering. Ive just joined and that was my first ever posting and I pressed the key before describing my 96 year old mother’s condition! Basically Mum has suffered from peripheral neuropathy (not related to diabetes) for over 20 years and, unfortunately, the neuropathy has now progressed to the stage where she can only stand/shuffle for a few minutes at a time. For most of the day Mum sits, with feet up, in a reclining chair but, during the last 2/3 weeks her feet and ankles have become puffy and swollen and it frightens me. I know its been hot lately(!) but I would really appreciate any tips.

This is really something that needs medical attention. It could be congestive heart failure. Is this you?

We really can’t give Medical advice over the Internet. Please call the doctor.

Again, this is a matter for a doctor to address. Even if we were medical professionals on this site, it would not be wise to dispense medical advice or treatment options here, and could even be dangerous. Swollen feet and legs can indicate congestive heart failure and a doctor visit is indicated.
